Your Officers and Board are trying to keep
operations and activities simple. We are publishing four editions
of LCA Today (July, Oct, January, and March). The number of
meetings has been decreased. General Membership meetings number
five, Board Meetings number three. (See the CALENDAR for dates).
Two Special Standing Committees, one Finance and the other
Service Program, have been added.
Other supports continue with proficient leadership: Mailing
(Isabel Wilson), Roster (Penne Tognetti) Sunshine (Loretta
Flageollet) and Telephone (Betty Carley) adn Hospitality (Marie
Azinheira). Our volunteer services program will include those
activates, such as meals, parties, and collections, which
have the hightest impact on CCCYO clients and meals, parties,

and best match our membership abilities and talents. Our fundraising
will promote, expand adn innovate in ways that assure the
maximum return for efforts made.
Memmbership is Key.
An important goal this year is to invigorate
our membership. First, we will recite this mantra repeatedly:
"Invite a Friend...Yes, One is good...more is magic".
Second, we are reaching out to former members, many of whom
have requested the newsletter and dues envelope and recommended
names of others to receive them as well. If you got the newsletter
but your good friend did not, please don't hesitate to notify

or at 650.455.2516. Newsletters this year will be sent to
all those who receive the July edition; it will be sent directly.
If requested or if your email address is unknown, it will
be emailed.

Note
To All Members
Please complete and return the membership dues envelope as
soon as possible so that you are accurately included in the
2011-2012 Roster. The Roster will be distributed at the September
11th General meeting.

Note To Those Whose Membership Has Lapsed
Be assured that a member may be reinstated at any time upon
payment of current dues. (LCA Bylaws, Art.8,Sec.5d)

Note To Lifetime Members
Lifetime members continue with that designation. It will not
be an option for new members. Lifetime members need not pay
dues and will be identified as lifetime in the roster. Please
complete the dues envelope, however, so that your information
is current for the 2011-2012 Roster and check either active
or contributing to describe your level of participation. Thank
